Time: Feb. 2023With a population density of 7,797 people per square kilometer, Singapore is one of the most densely populated countries in the world, with very limited land resources. As the population grows, Singapore needs more land to meet housing, commercial and infrastructure needs. This may lead to a reduction in green space and destruction of the natural environment. Further, while life at the bottom can be depressing and inconvenient, triggering problems such as dissatisfaction, stress, suicide and poor social relations.The 

Given the limited land resources, I believe that vertical expansion and greening is the most viable solution. Greenery plays an important role in this, improving local air quality by filtering particulate matter, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, while reducing the urban heat island effect. The introduction of greenery provides a comfortable environment for residents, reduces urban stress, promotes physical and mental health, and creates a harmonious community atmosphere. The selection and mix of plants will also be a standardized solution adapted to the different areas of the site.
